GENERATION NEXT 2025

Welcome to Generation Next

On Saturdays and selected evenings, Generation Next turns Mountview into a learning and social hub for young people aged 6-18 from Peckham, South London and beyond. The current workshops offered include Musical Theatre, Acting, Hip-Hop, Ballet and Tae Kwon Do.

At Generation Next, everyone is welcome.

We offer a range of 10-week workshops, giving young people the chance to develop skills, explore their creativity, and connect with each other in a supportive, fun and inspiring environment.

We are based in the heart of Peckham, in an accessible building with purpose-built studios and performance spaces.

Prices start at £6 per class, and to ensure that everyone can access the programme, we offer means-tested bursaries for Southwark residents, with more than half our participants qualifying for support.

The sessions will be led by the Generation Next team; all industry professionals with experience of, and passion for, working with young people to explore and develop their talents.

I've applied for a bursary. Does this mean my child is booked into class?

No, until you have sent the necessary documents and been invited to book, your child is not registered. Remember that demand is high for classes, and places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

I've previously applied for a bursary. Will I need to apply again?

If you have applied for a bursary for Autumn Term 2024 and received one, you will not need to apply again until the 2025/2026 academic year next autumn.
You will need to apply for a bursary if you have not applied for Autumn Term 2024.

Will my child need to bring anything?

They should wear comfortable clothing that they can move around in and bring a bottle of water. If attending more than one workshop, or a workshop that lasts longer than an hour, they might want to bring snacks.

We look forward to meeting you soon.
