“Without love, life has no purpose.”

Regardless of always handing over her heart to the wrong man, New York dancer Charity is still full of hope, refusing to give up on her dreams of finding a lover who can sweep her off her feet. But in a male-dominated world like hers, will she ever achieve her happily ever after?

Our Musical Theatre students boldly bring this beloved Broadway classic to new life through drag, grotesquery and wild abandon – including the iconic songs ‘Big Spender’, ‘If My Friends Could See Me Now’ and ‘The Rhythm of Life’.

Featuring music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorothy Fields and book by Neil Simon.

Duration: 2 hours 40, including a 20-minute interval

Sweet Charity features strobe lighting, scenes of a sexual nature, misogynistic and strong language, and themes of misogyny.

This amateur production of SWEET CHARITY is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Tams-Witmark LLC. www.concordtheatricals.co.uk
