Four Play is a frank and funny comedy about sex, commitment and monogamy in the 21st century. After seven-and-a-half blissfully happy years together, Rafe and Pete have hit a rut. So when they proposition mutual friend Michael to help solve their “problem” – knowing full well that Michael has his own partner – the boundaries of love and loyalty are pushed to the to extreme.
George Marlin (he/him) is a freelance director and theatre-maker, originally from Cambridge and currently based in London. Prior to undertaking his training at Mountview, George completed an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies at the University of Leeds. In Summer 2022, George toured the UK with an original musical that he co-created, titled ‘A Wilde Life’, which culminated in a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. George has several years’ experience in youth theatre and theatre in education and has a strong passion for engaging boys and young men with theatre through his work.
This play contains strong language, references to and scenes of a sexual nature throughout. Suitable for 15+ years.
