We believe that talent and potential should be the only requirements for entry to Mountview, and that a person’s circumstances should never prevent them from reaching their potential.
With the cost-of-living crisis and the continued widening of socio-economic divides, for many people, drama school training simply isn’t possible without additional help.
To ensure our stages and screens are representative of the society we live in, we need to provide financial support to those who could not otherwise afford to train, ensuring we are welcoming the very best talent from all backgrounds.
ESTABLISHING A SCHOLARSHIP
If you share our passion for helping artists realise their potential, we’d love to talk more. A donation of £5,000 or more per year could establish a named scholarship and change the course of a young person’s life. Alternatively, you can make a one-off or regular donation to the Judi Dench Fund for Access to Drama Training which supports a range of initiatives, including scholarships, which break down barriers to drama training.
If you would like to find out more about establishing a Scholarship, please get in touch with Laura Gabe, Senior Development Manager, to discuss further.
