Scenic Art and Prop Making Exhibition
We’re celebrating our amazing Scenic Art and Prop Making students and their work. Although they haven’t been able to make it into the workshop due to COVID-19, they’ve continued to develop their creative practice and fine-tune their skills. Below are examples from some of the projects that Sophie De La Mere and Annabel Lay have completed while training at Mountview.

SOPHIE DE LA MERE
“I studied Drama throughout my entire school life as well as attending a children’s theatre group for 12 years. I love everything to do with theatre and film and my experience at Mountview only deepened this. It showed me a creative arty side of myself that I didn’t know existed and I’m excited to start my career as a Scenic Artist knowing I’ve received some of the best training possible.”

ANNABEL LAY
“With a background in Makeup Artistry and Fine Art; an FdA in Scenic Art and Prop Making from Mountview has allowed me to learn and develop new skills. I am imaginative, passionate and enthusiastic with an eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. I love to research and understand the context behind the set elements I work on and I can’t wait to keep developing throughout my third year.”
