Mountview Gets Gold

We are thrilled to announce that for the second year running, a Mountview graduate has scooped a top gong for acting at the Oliviers. Giles Terera won Best Actor in a Musical for his performance as Aaron Burr in Hamilton. This follows the success of Rebecca Trehearn, who won the 2017 Olivier for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical. Giles Terera is joined in Hamilton – winner of 6 additional awards including Best New Musical –  by Cleve September, who was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical.

Mountview graduates are also found in many of the other winning shows including The Ferryman (West End – Best New Play), Follies (NT – Best Musical Revival), and Angels in America (NT – Best Revival).
