Mountview completes theatre fundraising

We are thrilled to announce that Sir Cameron Mackintosh has today announced a gift of £1 million to Mountview.

This incredibly generous donation ensures the completion of our £6.5million fundraising campaign towards our £29 million capital project to build a new home for Mountview in Peckham.

The gift is the culmination of a 2.5 year capital fundraising campaign kick-started by a lead donations from Lady Susie Sainsbury’s Backstage Trust (after which Mountview’s 80-seat studio theatre is named) and the Foyle Foundation. Further significant support has been received from London Borough of Southwark, LEAP the Local Enterprise Partnership for London and Mayor of London and generous support from many individuals, grant-makers and companies. We are incredibly grateful to Sir Cameron and all our donors and supporters without whom this project would not have been possible.
