On Stage and Screen
Alex Howarth directed A Brief List of Everyone Who Died at Finborough Theatre.
in | Secure, written by and starring Valery Reva, played at the Golden Goose Theatre.
Katie Paterson took to the Camden People’s Theatre stage in SIDE FX.
Arian Nik appears as the title role in the new ITV comedy Count Abdulla.
Dean John-Wilson was cast in the English language premiere of Death Note – The Musical at the London Palladium. Katy Richardson was announced as Musical Supervisor and Justin Williams as Designer.
Our Last First, written by Lucinda Coyle with poster design by Megan Henson, played at The Space.
Rhashan Stone starred in Tambo & Bones at Theatre Royal Stratford East.
Liam Maddin directed a two-day workshop with a work-in-progress script entitled Open Door.
Alum Charlotte Grayson was cast in The Lord of the Rings: A Musical Tale at The Watermill Theatre.
Meanwhile, George Dyer was named as Musical Supervisor in the upcoming UK tour of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Stuart Pendred has been in rehearsal for The Land of Might-Have-Been.
It was announced that the role of Gertie Cummings in Oklahoma! will be taken over by Lizzie Wofford.
Sam Ebenezer was named as part of the new company of The Choir of Man on the West End.
Jack Wolfe and Jack Ofrecio were announced in the cast of the Donmar Warehouse’s Next to Normal, directed by alum Michael Longhurst.
It was revealed that Mina Anwar will play Rosa Hubermann in a musical adaption of The Book Thief, playing at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry and the Curve in Leicester.
Niall Sheehy was in rehearsal for Glory Ride at Charing Cross Theatre.
Eleanor Sutton has been appearing as Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Opera Holland Park.
Natalie Kimmerling has been performing in Henry V: Schools’ Tour with the Donmar Warehouse.
Alum Harriet Waters has been starring in SHEWOLVES at Southwark Playhouse Borough.
Matt Rawle was cast as Che in the West End production of Evita In Concert, with fellow alum Bethany Jefferies joining the show as Assistant Stage Manager.
Jonathan Carlton recently took over as Erwin Bach in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, with fellow alum Ewan Grant joining the cast as Swing and cover Roger/Erwin/Phil.
A number of Mountview alumni started rehearsals for LIZZIE The Musical at Hope Mill Theatre. The cast features Emma Louise Hoey and Ayesha Patel as cover Lizzie/Alice and alternate Bridget/Emma respectively, with Katy Richardson as Musical Supervisor and Honor Halford-Macleod as Musical Director.
Samuel Brenton was case in Derren Brown’s Unbelievable on the West End.
Lottie Johnson joined the cast of the Tales from Acorn Wood UK tour.
At Glastonbury, Alexandra Ricou performed as various walkabout characters with the Natural Theatre Company.
Nick Barclay and Tashinga Bepete have been appearing in Dear England at the National Theatre.
Max Bower was cast in The Choir of Man with Norwegian Cruise Line.
Meanwhile, Fred Double performed in Wise Children’s Wuthering Heights.
Alum Pablo Gómez Jones has been in rehearsal for In Dreams at Leeds Playhouse.
Jean-Luke Worrell has been appearing in A Strange Loop at the Barbican.
Connor Bannister has been performing in Blood Brothers (UK Tour).
Director Daniel Blake has been in rehearsal for Bones at Park Theatre.
It was revealed that Ed Wade will be joining the West End cast of Frozen.
New comedy-drama The Change started on Channel 4, with alum Jim Howick.
Diana Chrisman has been appearing in both Titans and The Ponysitters Club on Netflix.
Appointments
Mountview’s Rachel Bagshaw was appointed as the new Artistic Director of the Unicorn Theatre.
Alum Daniel Cartlidge was announced as Co-Director of Creative Youth.
