2021 Postgraduate Performance Alumni Spotlight
In March we took a look at what our 2021 undergraduate performance alumni have gone on to achieve since finishing their training at Mountview. Today, we turn our attention to 2021 graduates of Postgraduate courses and ask, where are they now?
Ophelia Charlesworth and Sophia Hirsch featured in Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens in February at the Kings Head Theatre and Joy Tan starred in Jungle Rumble at the Fortune Theatre.
In late 2021, Shaquille Jack starred in Redemption for The Big House whilst Ed Paget worked in the stage management team for A Christmas Carol at The Old Vic, before moving on to stage manage The Lion King.
Aimee McGoldrick featured in A Walk is Not Just a Walk with the Lyric Belfast.
Rachel Morris recently finished filming for popular ITV series Vera and Kath Thickett just wrapped filming four episodes of Doctors for the BBC.
Adam Deary stars in an acclaimed production of Jane Austen’s Persuasion, an Alexandra Palace and Rose Theatre Production in association with Oxford Playhouse.
A new verbatim musical Little Sausage, produced by Tanya Truman, opened at The Other Palace Studio.
Becca Chadder has been named Playwright in Residence at Watermill Theatre, and Creative Associate at Jermyn Street Theatre where she’ll be directing The Poison Belt, opening in July.
Directed by Heather O’Sullivan, Sophia Hirsch performed her solo show TwoFace at Camden People’s Theatre, which will be returning in June to Kings Head Theatre.
Laurence Stannard was rehearsal Musical Director on Footloose UK Tour and 9 to 5 UK Tour. He has also been Deputy on Addams Family UK Tour and Bring it On at Southbank.
This month Tom Liggins opened in My Fair Lady at London Coliseum and India Wilson is performing her solo show You Can’t Understand at Theatre Peckham.
Rosa Higgs is directing A Room with a View this summer at the Minnack Theatre Cornwall.
Sarah Jordan Verghase has been working on marketing and communications on For Black Boys Who Have Considered Suicide When The Hue Gets Too Heavy at Royal Court Theatre.
Francesca Davies–Caceres (along with alum Tom Titherington) won the Direct Your Future programme at Cervantes Theatre.
Catherine Benson has been Assistant Musical Director on Addams Family UK Tour and Debbi Clarke is Assistant Musical Director on Bonnie and Clyde.
Meanwhile, Caitlin Morgan is Associate Musical Director on SIX.
