Opened in September 2018, our 10,000sqm RIBA Award-winning home is situated in the heart of Peckham, one of South London’s most creative and dynamic neighbourhoods. Architecturally designed to be a ‘warehouse for the arts’, we have a range of spaces available for hire including two theatres; 24 acting, dance and TV studios; conference and meeting spaces; and production facilities.

Every week we welcome professional theatre companies, corporate companies, film and photography shoots, workshops and classes, and local independent artists and collectives to our spaces. Previous clients include BAFTA, Condé Nast, BBC, Deloitte, Chichester Festival Theatre, Disney, Nike and Shakespeare’s Globe.

A short walk from Peckham Rye station, Mountview is just 10 minutes by train from London Bridge. Once here, you’ll find an independent cafe and restaurant/bar onsite: Westland Coffee & Wine, and the Tokyo-inspired gaming-themed Loading Bar.

And as a registered charity, every penny generated through commercial hires goes to support our core mission to develop the next generation of creative talent.

“Whizz Kid Entertainment and BAFTA used one of the studios at Mountview as a location for a shoot with the host of the BAFTA Film Awards 2019, Joanna Lumley.

We needed a large, relatively empty studio that could be dressed for various set-ups and also house an area for wardrobe (numerous costume changes) and make-up and hair. We used the TV studio and it was ideal on all levels – it was super helpful that the studio was sound-proofed and that there was a café and a restaurant within Mountview for crew coffees and lunch.

Joanna and the production team and crew were really impressed with Mountview as a filming location but also as a school – it has a great atmosphere and is brilliantly located close to a shopping street and public transport connections.”

There are few multi-purpose spaces of this kind in London that are competitively priced.

There’s lots of resources on site – lifts, showers, some parking and whilst you can bring in your own catering there’s also a delicious reasonably priced bar and café. It’s currently a hidden gem of a filming location, staffed by an unflappable, helpful and accommodating team.
