Course Overview

The Part-Time Acting course at Mountview has been designed to enable access for people who are committed to furthering their acting training but are not in a position to enroll in full-time study. The course takes place on three evenings a week for six months and provides the core elements of acting training while developing creativity and artistic identity. Students develop technique, repertoire, and confidence for further opportunities.

The course can support participants from a wide range of backgrounds and at different stages of their training journeys, including but not limited to:

  • Developing foundational skills before pursuing full-time training (BA or MA)
  • Exploring vocational drama training out of interest
  • Advancing existing skills to enter the industry without formal training

Alumni of the part time programme have gone on to secure places on BA and MA courses at Mountview, RADA, Guildhall, LAMDA, Arts Ed, Italia Conti, Central School of Speech and Drama, Rose Bruford and GSA, as well as going directly into work in the industry.
