Beth is a creative producer, facilitator and theatremaker. Having graduated in the first cohort of MA Theatre for Community and Education (2022) she is now working as the MA Course Assistant.
Beth has produced for theatres, festivals and digital platforms across the UK. Past credits include Order From Chaos (Edinburgh Fringe 2019), Werewolf: Live! Comedy (Edinburgh Fringe 2019, Twitch 2020) and the Artists Make Money Podcast (2021). She was Workshop Manager for the National Student Drama Festival (2019-2020) and Producer for the Nottingham New Theatre (2018-2020), including the short film Cinnamon Tea (YouTube, 2020). Beth was awarded with a Fellowship of the Nottingham New Theatre in 2020.
With BA Classical Civilisation (University of Nottingham), Beth has a research interest in drawing cultural and critical connections between the ancient past and today. She is a guest lecturer for this MA on her methodology “Transforming Greek Myths for the World Today” and particularly enjoys engaging with the course’s materials on museology and global culture. She has worked as an International Mentor in Greece on the “Mythology, Philosophy and Modern Democracy” programme run by Global Leadership Adventures.
Beth’s theatre making approach is multidisciplinary and collaborative, leading projects that showcase the diverse skills of their creators. She has 15+ years performing experience across many artistic genres, including musical theatre, dance, orchestral music, film and TV.
