Sterre trained at the Inholland Conservatoire in the Netherlands and gained an MA Practice of Voice and Singing with Distinction from the Guildford School of Acting. She has worked internationally as a voice tutor and director at drama schools in South Korea, Romania and Costa Rica, at theatre festivals in Mexico, Bulgaria and Romania and at the Central School of Speech and Drama and the Guildford School of Acting. Sterre performed most recently with Fevered Sleep, Filament Theatre and in As You Like It at the National Theatre. She worked on an annual Shakespeare exchange project in rural Bulgaria and regularly coaches productions for the Guildford Shakespeare Company as well as private clients.
Sterre sits on the advisory board for accent app Spi:ki:zi and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
