Robin started his theatrical career at the Victoria Palace Theatre as a stage hand. He then gained lighting experience through fringe theatre before transitioning to sound at the Mermaid Theatre for the RSC and 42nd Street at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
As a vision engineer, Robin has worked on Who Wants to be a Millionaire and Match of the Day and regularly works on the BAFTA Awards. He has also worked with bands such as Oasis and Genesis.
He started teaching in 2012 at Colchester Institute where he also gained his teaching degree.
