Clare studied Stage Management and graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 1992.
She began her career as Stage Crew on Starlight Express, then worked as an Assistant Stage Manager and Deputy Stage Manager in rep, on various UK and international tours and in the West End, notably at the Royal Court, National Theatre, Young Vic and the Donmar Warehouse.
She also has experience of event work and was part of the Stage Management team for the BBC Comedy Awards, National TV Awards and BAFTAs.
More recently, she was the Broadcast Monitor for the launch of a rocket, creating a constellation of satellites for better broadband connectivity in remote parts of the world, and the Company Manager for Magic Mike Live at London’s Hippodrome from June 2019 to December 2021.
