Mountview is one of the UK’s leading drama schools. We offer professional vocational training at Foundation, Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in performance and production arts, alongside evening, weekend and holiday classes for all.

Development Committee Members

We are looking for new members to join our Development Committee, to support and champion fundraising at Mountview through the next period of our development.

We are keen to hear from applicants from any background who meet the Person Specification below, but are particularly interested in hearing from individuals with one or more of the following areas of expertise:

Senior Lighting Tutor

The Senior Lighting Tutor is a key member of Mountview’s Production Arts training team, supporting the FdA, BA Top-Up and Postgraduate training programmes in Technical Production: lighting, sound, video and associated technical skills.

The post holder is primarily responsible for developing and delivering lessons in lighting across the full range of courses and supporting students on projects and production roles, as well as assessing student learning and progression in this area and contributing to the development and delivery of the Technical Production training curriculum as a whole.

Reporting to the Head of Production Arts Training, and working alongside other academic, technical and production staff, the Senior Lighting Tutor will ensure that students receive the highest possible levels of tuition, guidance and support, and that tuition is responsive to students’ individual development and the needs of the professional creative industries.

SALARY: Circa £33-35K per annum, depending on experience.

Building Maintenance Technician

The Building Maintenance Technician is a key member of Mountview’s Facilities and Operations team. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the post holder is responsible for assisting in the upkeep and maintenance of all areas of Mountview’s premises, including buildings, grounds, equipment and environmental services. The position is a physical, ‘hands on’ role and will require strong practical maintenance skills, manual handling, working at height, operating power tools, working in confined spaces and working on the exterior of the building.

SALARY: Circa £27-28K per annum, depending on experience.
